The Wilkshire House Summerville · Augusta, GA
A ground-floor apartment kitchen with white shaker cabinets, granite counters, stainless appliances, and a round breakfast table

Extended Stays

Thirty nights. Ninety nights. Your own front door.

Furnished single-suite stays for traveling nurses, clinicians, consultants, and relocating families — ten minutes from Augusta’s medical district.

Traveling nurses & medical professionals

A home for the length of the contract.

Thirteen weeks is too long for a hotel and too short to sign a lease. A Wilkshire apartment is furnished, private, and ready — with a full kitchen, its own laundry facility, and a keypad that belongs to nobody but you.

  • 30, 60, 90-night and contract-length stays — extensions usually possible
  • Fully furnished with linens, cookware, and utilities included
  • Private exterior entrance — no shared corridors or lobbies
  • Laundry facility inside each ground-floor apartment
  • Roughly ten minutes to the medical district; off-street parking on site
  • The Azalea (2 bed / 1 bath) is the larger downstairs suite — roomy eat-in kitchen and its own tile patio to unwind on after a shift
  • The Dogwood (2 bed / 1 bath) is the smallest and cosiest — a smaller eat-in kitchen and a compact shower-only bath, at the gentlest rate on the property
  • Travelling with a colleague? Take both apartments — separate doors, one address.
  • Weekly housekeeping available on request for extended stays.

The two ground-floor apartments

The Azalea and The Dogwood — 2 bedrooms each, one bath each.

Same bedroom count, different scale. The Azalea is the roomier of the two — a full eat-in kitchen and a tile patio of its own. The Dogwood is the smallest suite on the property and the cosiest: a compact eat-in kitchen and a shower-only bath, priced accordingly.

Guests of every kind

Sample testimonials — replace with real quotes.

Sample — Bride, October wedding
“Thirteen weeks at University Hospital and I never once felt like I was living out of a suitcase. Private entrance, real kitchen, quiet street. I extended twice.”
Sample — Travel nurse, ICU contract
“We hosted four clients for tournament week. Chef in the kitchen, the Lexus at the door, and a putting green to settle arguments. Far better than four hotel rooms across town.”
